For less walking, use available lifts and cableways and shorten the paths. This is not a step-free itinerary. In rain, check operator notices; do not substitute an exposed cliff or bridge route automatically.

Shuttles, lifts and walking
A map distance is not a walking time here. Valleys and ridges are connected by a mix of shuttle roads, cableways, the Bailong Elevator and stair routes. Confirm the next connection before leaving an area.
- Park admission: check whether the eco-bus component is included in your product.
- Bailong Elevator: check direction and ride count; it is not automatically included in basic admission.
- Cableways: Tianzi, Yangjiajie and Huangshizhai are separate transport products unless your bundle includes them.
- Last services: ask at arrival, rather than planning to descend after sunset.
A useful two-day starting point
Day 1: Yuanjiajie and Tianzi Mountain. Day 2: Golden Whip Stream, plus Huangshizhai or Yangjiajie if time and conditions allow.
Stay near the entrance you will actually use. Keep the first day flexible if poor weather hides the viewpoints.

Is the forest park the same as the Glass Bridge?
No. The Grand Canyon Glass Bridge is in a separate scenic area with its own admission.
Can I skip the elevator?
You can choose a different park route. Ask staff which cableway, shuttle or walking alternatives are operating; they are not necessarily quicker or cheaper.
Do I need to reserve?
Advance reservations are recommended. Confirm the travel date, entrance, passport details and return-entry conditions for your ticket.
