Where to sleep, night by night
Three days with Tianmen: arrive in Wulingyuan, stay there for both forest-park days, then move to the city the evening before Tianmen.

Four days: Wulingyuan for the forest park and canyon, then the city before Tianmen. Confirm luggage storage and transfer costs before moving hotels.
